NGOCC has a membership of 108 organisations, of which 52 are Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and 56 Community Based Organisations (CBOs) . Of the 108 organisations, 105 are Ordinary members while 3 are Associate members. An ordinary member is an NGO/CBO that is primarily established to empower and advance the status of women while an associate member is that which does not work directly to empower women but contributes to the vision of the Women’s Movement.
The member NGOs/CBOs are spread across the country as follows: Lusaka Province - 45 Southern Province - 8 Northern Province - 3 Copperbelt Province - 12 Central Province - 11 Eastern Province - 6 Luapula Province - 6 Northwestern Province - 5 Western Province - 11 It is through this membership that NGOCC reaches out to about 75% of women in Zambia. Membership is only granted every two years at the General Assembly. The Membership Committee may physically visit applying organisations before admitting them. The annual membership fee is K 200, 000, for NGOs and K100, 000 for CBOs. The subscription fees are subject to change from time to time as will be determined by the General Assembly.
