Welcome to NGOCC

The Non-Governmental Organizations Coordinating Council (NGOCC) was established by a few Zambian women NGOs in 1985, after the United Nations’ World Conference on Women held in Nairobi Kenya. The establishment of NGOCC was born out of the realization that the process of empowering women needed concerted efforts and hence, NGOCC was born to facilitate networking at national, regional and international levels.
